About us
Cathy Thompson started her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 4, selling dandelions door to door. She has been a TV host and producer, mental health and addictions consultant, a tutor, a franchisor, a licensor, computer salesperson, server, talent manager, tax preparer, podcast host, and retreat organizer.
At the cornerstone of all her adventures, she identifies as a lifelong learner. Cathy holds a B.A in Psychology, a diploma in Bookkeeping, a diploma in Addition Studies along with a post-graduate certificate in Adult and Continuing Education.
With just shy of 30 years of business experience under her belt, she speaks frankly about how to grow a successful business from the ground up in The Dandelion. She and her husband live in Southwestern Ontario and have two extraordinary kids pursuing their own dreams in the fields of baseball and acting/producing.
